Will be responsible to develop, direct, manage and coordinate construction activities for projects group. Coordinates construction activities with Maintenance resources and management. Monitor and audit safety programs to assure safe construction of projects. Assure that safety standards and regultions are implemented on construction projects. Establish goals, budgets, and provide input into construction budgets and forecasts. Provide written and oral communications to interact with respect to construction execution with Maintenance, Operations an Engineering personnel. Participates in determining contracting plans, constructability reviews, required resources, contractor selection, and safety evaluation. Plan, coordinate and execute multiple projects at same time, including capital and expense prjects. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, plans and specifications for projects.

To be considered for this position the candidate must have a Bachelors Degree, (prefer Masters) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering and 10 years related construction management experience. Knowledge and capabilities in project schedule management and schedule tools. Knowledge and capabilities in cost estimating methodologies and tools. Computer skills related to Microsoft Office, Prject Management Systems, SAP. Coordinating and quality oversight of construction contractors and capital projects. Refining industry experience preferred. Construction and procurement coordination experience preferred.
