Job Description Operations Manager: BS Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer with.6 to 8-20 plus years chemical industry experience. Chlor-Alkali experience preferred, Will consider Inorganic, Organic or Polymers background. Strong leadership and Management and Operations skills. Union experience helpful. This manager plans, organizes, and directs the manufacture of quality products through efficient use of personnel, equipment, and materials. Responsible for insuring for EHS compliance of the plant. Accountble for production volumes. Accountable for with all Federal, State, and local regulations compliance. Accountable for establishing budget. Accountable for interfacing with community leaders and officials to ensure good community relations. Accountabl for maintaining good customer satisfaction for products shipped and ensure root cause is determined for all customer concerns. Responsible for interfacing with local media to address issues / concerns and portray positives of Company and products. Respnsible for interfacing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Responsible for assisting in negotiation of plant labor contracts and interface with unions concerning issues and safety committee. Member of the Quality Steering team of plan is a 24/7 operation; therefore, the Operations Manager will be on-call 24/7. There are promotion opportunityies for the Doer and aggressive Manager. Salary range $95 to 130K plus Bonus and Benefits. Fee and Relocation paid by the Client Company. Wiling to relocate.
