Sr. Advanced Process Control Engineer / APC - $80-100K Need Several!
Large Profitable Refinery is seeking a Sr. Process Control Engineer. BS Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5-10 years petroleum refining experience - minimum 2 years experience in advanced process control programming, development and implementation. Need strong computer skills, specifically experience with DCS (Honeywell TDC 3000), Multivariable control software (Honeywell RMPCT - Robust Multivariable Predictive Control Techology), DMC (Dynamic Matrix Control), etc. Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills are needed. The ability to communicate effectively with management and operators, develop and deliver oral presentations, and facilitate inter-depatment meetings is required. Manage advanced control projects using critical thinking to provide visionary, creative solutions regarding APC. Experience with Honeywell HPM (Performance Process Management), and PHD (Process History Database), helpful. Mento associate engineers. Strong technical understanding of refinery processes for daily support, monitoring and enhancement to existing systems. Locations: LA, TX PA, NJ, CA and Internationally. Refinery Process Engineer - $75-95K
Responsibilites include providing process engineering service to support the Area team. Support and technical leadership is essential for the Team to complete the objectives, which include cost Reduction, safety and environmental compliance, increased process reliabilty, optimization, debottlenecking, etc. Other responsibilities include determining optimal process unit operating strategy based on refinery economics. Also, monitor document, and analyze process performance data for assigned operating area. Works closelywith Operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the process.
Ideal candidate must have a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering/tech service in the Oil refining industry. Any unit experiece: FCC, Crude, Alkylation, Hydrotreater. This is a very hands-on process engineer position working to modify and optimize the process. Individual will assist in several process improvement projects.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoin. Hysis/Hysim process simulation software experience preferred. VCM Process / Production Manager
Large Petrochemical Company seeks ChE with 8-15 years Vinyl Chloride production and management experience in a Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) prodution environment preferred. Experienced in planning, organization, direction and control of the manufacturing of quality products, through the efficient use of personnel, equipment, and materials with the objective of meeting production schedules, qualityucts, controlling cost, promoting safety, protecting the environment and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Must have strong communication and organization skills. Must be Computer literate.
