Job Description EHS Coordinator List duties/responsibilities Safety of all employees at the facility. Enforcement of all Safety Rules and Guidelines to keep the employees from harm. Plan, schedule, and direct plant safety meetings to ensure all personnel have adequate training and safety equipment. Conduct new employee training. MSHA refresher training. First Aid CPR training. This will make sure that all employees are instructed in the proper and safe working practices pertaining to their jobs. Motivate plant personnel to ensure a team spirit for watching out for all employees. Develop and nurture effective working relationships with production managers and supervisors to assure management commitment to, and support for, the overall safety ffort. Conduct safety inspections in plants and terminals to detect unsafe working conditions and practices Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety program that encourages employee participation, reduces work related accidents, and complies wih the rules and requirements of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Physical requirements Walking, lifting, and climbing stairs. Knowledge/Skills Minimum Bachelor of Science degree Ability to develop and maintain emplyee-training programs to standardize work practices and comply with MSHA rules and requirements.
